About: This piece has a special place in my heart. This piece was part of the West Studios ‘Emerging Artists’ 2023 Exhibition, my first ever show. ‘Ebb’ aims to capture the notion of transience. Weather, seasons, light and dark all can’t be fixed; and neither can time, space, or emotion. Emotions can have such a powerful hold on us, sometimes they drift on by, and sometimes they can be hard to leave us. This piece was my attempt to capture this tumultuous nature.
